Special Events
Throughout the year, the Special Activities Committee plans and organizes informative events appealing to a cross-section of UWC’s Membership. These can include guided tours to museums, art exhibitions, and historical buildings, as well as other places of interest that showcase Argentina and Latin America in general from a cultural perspective, in particular those linked with the role of women.
Special Events also include the New Members’ Tea, which invites all past UWC Presidents, current Board Members, and new Members who joined during the past twelve months to come together for a late afternoon tea each August or September.
Typical Timing:
Several times throughout the year, to be announced
