Our Members
The heart of our Club are our almost one-hundred Members, who bring curiosity, creativity, and enthusiasm to all we do and experience.
Members are English-speaking women who have studied at an accredited university, college, or institution of higher learning. The UWC membership boasts citizens from over fifteen countries, published writers, devoted mothers, groundbreaking scientists, sincere friends, acclaimed artists, international businesswomen, temporary and permanent residents of Buenos Aires, community development leaders, and accomplished women from many additional fields. What unites us is our intellectual curiosity, our cultural understanding, and our desire to connect with and contribute to others. While the Club’s activities are conducted in English, we are a multi-lingual group.
Dues for 2025 will be equal to the cost of the most recent luncheon. If you pay before March 1, 2025, dues will be $30.000 ARS, payable in cash only.
Life Members
An invitation to Life Membership may be extended at the discretion of the Board to women who have been UWC Members for thirty consecutive years. These women are pillars of the UWC community and bring so much shared enthusiasm, knowledge, and commitment to our purpose and activities.

“The UWC has meant many things to me: Both learning and friendship as the Club’s motto says. I have learnt from the many interesting speakers as well as from having to talk in public when I was president.”
