PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE ROLE OF THE ARGENTINE ARMED FORCES

National defense is the integration and coordinated action of all the forces of the Nation for the solution of those conflicts that require the use of the Armed Forces. When our country was the 8th richest in the world, our armed forces were important enough to, for example, collaborate with Japan in its war with Russia. Later they declined, but they maintained their regional importance. Its military industries were important. Participation in internal politics and the defeat in the Malvinas war caused the Defense to be punished budgetarily since 1983. Thus, after 40 years, the current situation requires significant investment in all senses. The future marks a great need for us to have a defense that allows the sustainable development of Argentina and cooperates with Peace in the World.
