Our speaker will be Ambassador Karl Dhaene. Ambassador Dhaene is the Belgian Ambassador to Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay.
The subject of his talk will be “ Belgian Expertise in the dredging sector and what it can offer to Argentina and the region”. His CV can be seen here.
Specifically, he will elucidate how Belgium's expertise in the dredging sector plays a crucial role in Argentina's Hidrovía system. The Hidrovía Paraná-Paraguay is a major waterway in South America, encompassing the Paraná and Paraguay rivers. It serves as a vital transportation route for more than 80% of Argentina’s exportations.
