The Hare with Amber Eyes by Edmund de Waal
Due to the last minute cancellation of the July Book Club, members will meet on Tuesday August 10th at 3:00pm to share their thoughts after reading “The Hare with Amber Eyes” by Edmund de Waal. Remember the book is available at Kels Bookstore. De Waal travels from Europe to Asia and back again as he follows the clues he receives about the family heirloom at each stop. The theme of this book centers on the author’s search into his family’s relationship with the Japanese netsuko artifacts he inherited.
