Orquesta de los Barrios Virtual Concert

We continue to support Nestor Tedesco and the Orquesta de los Barrios in every way we can – his task of keeping the young musicians animated and encouraging them to practise is of course doubly difficult during lockdowns and curfews, especially considering the difficult living conditions of some of them. Well over a year ago now we managed to set up a scholarship scheme for the musicians, so that each one of them receives a modest monthly amount to help out. Nestor has been able to organize a couple of virtual concerts already and another one is planned for Friday 28th at 7pm. We hope as many of you as possible will be able to attend, so you can appreciate how successful Nestor has been in keeping the musicians deeply involved in their music. The flyer and zoom link will be sent out closer to the date of the concert.
