Master Class via Zoom

The Orquesta de los Barrios is privileged to have UNLV (University of Nevada, Las Vegas) viola professor Kate Hamilton as Artist in Residence, a customary program in US universities whereby artists can share their artistic talents with other musicians worldwide, impart their knowledge and explore new locations and different cultures.
In Kate’s words:

“Being an Artist in Residence for La Orquesta de Los Barrios is very exciting for me. I want to support my great colleague of 30 years, Nestor Tedesco and I want to give my teaching and artistic influence to young viola players in Argentina. As the Artist in Residence, I will give several Viola master classes for the students and help and advise them on repertoire, Etudes and artistic performance.

I hope to travel to Argentina in the future to work directly with the viola players. Until that time, we are on Zoom.”
