Welcome to the 2023 season of UWC Continuing Education lectures and workshops! We are excited to begin this year on Thursday, March 23rd, at 3pm, with a workshop on how we can manage our mobile phones better. UWC member and fabulous singer/organizer July Banner will speak on “Tech Tips for Everyday”. She will show us some techniques to get the most out of our cellular phones, such as learning to take great photos, managing our storage, and understanding more clearly the terminology and concepts behind our cloud-controlled lives. Please send questions beforehand and remember to bring your mobile phone if you would like hands-on help.
The workshop will be held at Melodye’s apartment in Palermo, near the Jardin Botanicó. There is not much parking (although several garages nearby), but it is only about 100m from many bus stops on Las Heras, and close to subway line D (Scalabrini Ortiz) for those interested in public transport. The exact address will be sent to those who RSVP. The talk will be limited to 15 participants.
If you would like to bring something to share for the social discussion afterwards, that would be appreciated (please inform Melodye of what you will bring so she can balance the table. Melodye will provide coffee, tea and cold beverages.
