Continuing Education Event Announcement
Dear UWC Members,
Our first Cont. Ed. session using the video chat platform Zoom was a great success! We had 20 members connected for the discussion about face masks, and the platform worked well for us. To help more of you to become familiar with Zoom before our monthly UWC luncheon on next Wednesday April 29th (don’t forget to RSVP), we will have a Cont. Ed. session on using Zoom. Three of our members who have been using Zoom in their work and personal lives have generously volunteered to give tips and help all of us become quickly comfortable with this new tool. Ann Noguer, Joanna Richardson, Gwendolyn Diaz-Ridgeway, and Masako Kano will discuss their experiences with Zoom, and help with any questions that the tutorials haven’t answered for you. This should make our first luncheon event run more smoothly, as you learn how to join, participate and leave a meeting. As you become more familiar with Zoom, you will maximize your enjoyment of the talks and activities that will be scheduled online. Zoom will allow us to stay connected, despite our inability to share an actual lunch together!
